After growing up on a farm in rural Warrenville, IL, LOOKS founder Loretta Wilger, rose to the top of her profession. Loretta modeled in Paris, Milan, London, Germany and Japan and throughout the United States, during her 15-year career. She has been photographed by the world-renowned photographer Victor Skrebneski and appeared in several prestigious magazines, such as Italian Vogue. She has also shared sets with Cindy Crawford, Iman, Diane Dewitt, and many other top models, and been placed in high profile catalogs including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Carson’s. She has been on numerous cat walks modeling for Versace, Carolina Herrara, Bill Blass, and many more.

After a successful fifteen-year career as a full time model, it was time to take the next step. Loretta moved onto PROMOD Model Agency in Hamburg, Germany, to become the Director of New Faces. She then decided it was time to move back to her hometown, Chicago. She hit the ground running as the Director of Plus Division and Head Booker of New Faces for Elite Model Management Chicago. While there, she had the opportunity to help develop many models such as Liya Kebede and Michelle Monaghan. Loretta launched the modeling and acting career of Belmont Cameli who has appeared in several films and television series as well as numerous ad campaigns. Lucy Westlake is another rising star who was discovered by Loretta. Lucy recently became the youngest woman to climb Mount Everest.

Loretta’s broad range of experience and passion for the industry gave her the skills needed to launch her own modeling consulting company, LOOKS Ltd, in 1998. What started as a business focused on scouting and educating new and upcoming models has expanded to include a full line of teen and women’s make up classes, as well as a complete line of cosmetics, brushes and skin care.

Loretta also served as an image consultant on the NBC hit reality show Starting Over, worked as the Fashion Director for Naperville Magazine, and has been featured by the Huffington Post.
